P180 – Vehicle Electrical System Circuit Tester (New Upgrade)

The P180 is an upgraded automotive circuit tester designed for 9 to 30 volt vehicle electrical systems. It combines a wide range of diagnostic functions to make auto repair easier, faster, and more efficient. The P180 works with the P181 Wire Finder for advanced breakpoint detection.

Key Functions

• DC Voltage Detection– Ultra-wide voltage range: supports 0–200 VDC voltage measurement. Displays live reading with MAX/MIN tracking.
• AC Voltage Measurement– Supports -100 VAC ~ +100 VAC voltage measurement.
• AC RMS– Measures AC voltages for any AC voltage or pulse waveform signal where RMS average voltage measurements are required.
• AC Peak-To-Peak (AC P-P)– For any AC voltage signal requiring peak-to-peak voltage measurement.
• AC Frequency– Measures the frequency or pulse width of AC voltage signals, e.g. MAF sensors, wheel sensors, etc. Range: 1Hz~1MHz.
• Resistance Testing– Range: 0.1Ω~1MΩ.
• Diode Testing– Tests diodes in vehicle circuits.
• Continuity Testing– A quick way to see if the wiring in an automotive circuit system is connected or disconnected.
• Injectors Test– Provides a complete display of injector circuit data (INJ-V, MAX, MIN, ON-T) for quick understanding of injector test results.
• Clean Injectors– Injector cleaning function.
• Battery Diagnostics– Multiple detection modes: Startup Test, Charge Test, Load Test. More accurate detection data for safer travel.
• Component Activation– Activates start fuel pumps, solenoids, blowers, cooling fans, headlights, and other components.
• Breakpoint Detection (Pathfinding)– The position of the open conductor can be quickly detected. Plug the tip of the probe into an open wire, send a sonic signal to the wire, and use the P181 Wire Finder to follow the wire and find the location of the breakpoint.
• Circuit Breaker Protection– Short-circuit protected. Internal circuit breakers trip if overloaded. When tripped, wait 5 seconds to cool down and press the side reset button to resume. Trip current: 8AMPS/1hr, 12AMPS/<1hr, 16AMPS/<5SEC.
• Built-in LED Light– Illuminates dark or nighttime work areas.
