P200 PRO Smart Hook Master Edition – New Generation Intelligent Circuit Detector

The P200 PRO Smart Hook Master Edition is the next generation of intelligent circuit detectors, suitable for all 9V–48V circuit systems. It features a larger color display, an upgraded V2.2.4 operating system with free online updates, and an expanded set of diagnostic functions compared to the standard P200. The P200 PRO comes with the P181 Wire Finder for advanced breakpoint detection and fault localization.

Key Functions

The P200 PRO provides 9 core diagnostic modes accessible from its icon-based menu:

• Multimeter– Measures DC/AC voltage, resistance, diode, current, and frequency.
• Oscilloscope (Osc)– Real-time waveform display for signal analysis.
• Relay Detection– Tests relay connectivity and displays pin diagram.
• Component Activation (Active)– Activates fuel pumps, solenoids, blowers, cooling fans, headlights, and other components.
• C-Tracer (Pathfinding/Computing)– Advanced circuit tracing with Pathfinding (Computing) Fault Location for precise breakpoint diagnosis.
• Injector Testing– Fuel injector test and cleaning modes.
• Leakage Detection (Cur Rcdr)– Detects current leakage in vehicle circuits.
• P-N (Positive & Negative Tests)– Identifies positive and negative electrodes in circuits.
• 0–5V Power Supply– Provides adjustable 0–5V power output for testing sensors and components.

Breakpoint Detection (Pathfinding)

The P200 PRO works with the included P181 Wire Finder to locate open conductors in vehicle wiring. Plug the probe tip into an open wire, send a sonic signal to the wire, and use the P181 to follow the wire and pinpoint the exact location of the breakpoint. The V2.2.4 system includes Pathfinding (Computing) Fault Location for even more precise diagnosis.

Dual Probes Design

The P200 PRO is equipped with two probes: a flexible/bendable probe that rotates 90° for accessing tight spaces, and a straight probe with a gold tip for precise contact. Both probes are bendable and extendable, ideal for use when space is at a premium.

Free V2.2.4 Upgrade

The P200 PRO supports free online firmware upgrades to V2.2.4, which includes a heavily updated operating system with smarter diagnostics and the Pathfinding (Computing) Fault Location feature. Both new and existing customers can download the V2.2.4 upgrade from the official website (requires P181 wire finder).
